Write a heartfelt review of The Rink it was by far the greatest skating rinks I’ve ever been to from the moment me and my family walked in. The atmosphere feels like family filled with love. One of the owners was at the entrance and I was extremely impressed to see how she was in her own building and managing the facility so well. It was a true blessing to have access to a beginners corner in the rear of the building and the music was absolutely on point. Everyone was amazing and I wish we lived closer but it was a place me and my family had to stop by and show love to. We are from New Jersey and have grew up hearing great things about this spot. Definitely a community family spot and we definitely want to come back someday.

This is my area skating rink. While I would give them 5 stars they need to do something about the parking lot. If it gets too crowded and you want to leave early you would be stuck. I threw my youngest baby 3rd birthday party there we had a great time. I just wish during family skate the music would be more family friendly. Other than that the prices are great the place is newly updated the staff is friendly and helpful.
Great teachers, I don't rollerskate like that, but now I know how to not collapse instantly while on a rink thanks to Prince and Calvin. My legs entered a catatonic state the day after I went here. It is likely that I simply need to get my money up, not my funny up, in order to remedy this conundrum.
Hidden Southside gem! Check the hours before you go, they're a little funky and different sessions may have different themes. Plenty of parking in the back but just pay closer attention or you might miss the turn off. But it's always been fun when I've gone!
The skating trainer PRINCE has serious issues. Had an issue with The skate rental I returned my skates to take a break and asked before I handed them over is ok to come back to the booty and grab the skates after I rest. She stated that was fine. I returned politely asked for a pair of skates she told me “I don’t feel like handing out and more rentals tonight” it was 9:30. I was upset and left but other than that it’s a Nice place enter thru the back free parking.

I absolutely LOVE that they do skate classes! I learned SO much in my short time in Chicago and try to make it every time I go back! Appreciate what the new management did with it! Highly recommend.
This place is like a big memory of enormous emotions!! Made me feel like I walked into rainbow skating rink in 1996 all over again lol. It was great to see some old faces and put my skates on and roll around with these amazing people!!! The dj was playing some good old skool music and the skaters were definitely feeling it!! Its 10 dollars to get in and that's a great price. I'm excited to go back in the coming weeks and get some practice in on these old knees!!!
